Maxim was still sick today, so we did not go anywhere. Instead we walked around our home and found few mushrooms. Oh, the irony, we went searching for mushrooms a week ago, but we found them first at home. We took few brown cap boletus and planted on our backyard. Hopefully, we may have our own private mushrooms too.

We did not find just the mushrooms, we found fish. We went home, took two buckets, a shovel and a rake and went fishing. If you knew that we are not crazy (at least not my kids), you would quickly conclude, that we found a place where the fish can be caught by bare hands. Of cause you would be right - one of the lakes in our community was almost drained out and about three dozen of fishes were trying to survive at the bottom of it. At first we started collecting them one by one trying not to touch them and letting them go in another lake. Later we started to work faster - grabbing them by hand and collecting a big number of fishes in a bucket with water. I guess together we caught more fish than our friends with a fishing licence during this year, but at the end we saved all fish that we could catch. There were still few newly-hatched fishes too small to be caught. It was fun for all of us. Our kids were especially excited - they never did any fishing before.

Yesterday my daughter summer school has ended. Except it was a free GATE program summer school, I am not thrilled with it. I guess it all depends on a teacher. I wish my daughter was in a different class. She is very good in math, so she decided to go with art in the school. She were doing a vase. Except that it was not actually a vase, but a plate and there was no rotating table to actually make a vase. It also looks nobody was actually teaching how to do it, so experimenting on her own. The result is a very interesting decorative plate, but it is not even close to what she intended to do. At least she had some fun. Now we are back solving 5^th (she has finished 3^rd) grade math problems.
